A.      Simple Past Tense : S + V2 + O

1)      Yesterday evening they had dinner with Mr. President.

B.      Past Continous Tense  : S + was/were + verb-ing + O

5)      She wasn’t bringing many books.

6)      I wasn’t eating sandwich yesterday.

7)      They weren’t repairing those computers when I came.

C.      Past Perfect Tense : S + had+ V3 + O

1)      We had lived in Bekasi since five years ago

2)      Danish had given us a lot of money since we arrived.

4)      We just had sat when the bell rang.

5)      They had gone there before.

6)      I had finished it yet when you came.

7)      She had loved him for a long time.

D.      Past Perfect Continous Tense : S + had been + verb-ing + O
